A Bargain

Bhajan Gupta, a great miter, once dreamed an unusual dream. A voice told him, “Spend a hundred rupees in charity, and you will receive a thousand.” Inspired by this dream, he decided to use the money wisely. He distributed a hundred rupees among the needy. Two days later, he came across a buried jar that contained a thousand rupees!
A month passed, and Bhajan had another similar dream. This time, the voice directed him to spend a thousand rupees in charity to receive ten thousand in return. Bhajan organized a feast for the poor, spending a thousand rupees. A week later, his maternal uncle passed away, leaving him ten thousand rupees as an inheritance. Bhajan eagerly accepted this unexpected fortune.
Six months later, Bhajan’s wife, aware of their good fortune, had a dream that urged them to give away ten thousand rupees in charity. Without a moment’s hesitation, Bhajan accepted this divine message. He spent ten thousand rupees on a grand feast for the needy. However, the next day, he passed away, leaving behind a lakh of rupees for his wife!
