The King’s Decree Against Corruption

The king was deeply troubled by the rising number of complaints regarding corruption in his kingdom. One day, while standing on the terrace of his palace, the king observed the bustling street below. He noticed people engaged in suspicious activities, and his frustration grew. Curious about the lack of action against corruption, he summoned the official he had appointed to address these issues and demanded an explanation. “Why have you not yet put an end to this corruption?” he asked, his voice echoing with authority.

The official, taken aback by the king’s intensity, stammered in response. “Your Majesty, it is no easy task!
